As some of you who know me I spend my time messing about with adventure based businesses. This is short brief on how we are marketing a new business launch as it may help others. This is a very short version. Everything we do gets documented so we can hone the system so it makes doing it again else where so much easier
1. Spreadsheets done of 800 accommodation providers with all contact details
2. Spreadsheets done of all tour operators and agents
3. Sales team recruited and trained to visit all of above and introduce our services
4. Photo shoots and film production on going for use next week via large plasma screen in strategic positions
5. Distribution of 10000 brochures every month on rolling basis
6. Banner advertisments is strategic positions
7. Bluetooth marketing tools positioned in strategic positions
8. Recruitment of around 100 influencial people who are taken out on free trips
9 Reservations and booking system software installed in strategic partners locations
10. Large order for branded shirts so everyone looks the same and we get lots of locals wearing them.
11. Framed pictures produced of a excellent adventure photos and presented to strategic partenrs with a personal message plaque attached for them to put on wall in prominent position
12. Start telling the story to every single person we meet and come in contact with ( all though the copper did not seem to impressed:crying: )
13. Ensure the most connected people in the city get to here our story direct and encourage them to spread the word.
15. Production for adds for all the local city guides that the tourists use to get around ( they still get lost):001_cool:
16. Production of thousands of beer mats ( well cafe mats as beer does not go down to well here in most places) Of course those who look shall find
17. Know the arrival times of every flight in and where it is coming from!
18. Eat where you know your potential clients eat
19. Stay where your potentail clients stay
20. keep telling the story again and again and again
