I have Live Messenger installed on my Blackberry, is there a reason why it shows up as 'Online' rather than 'Mobile' when I am using it?

Gordon, what program are you using on the blackberry to sign into msn? I use QuickIM which I think pops up saying I have signed in on a mobile device. To be honest though I prefer to email as i've never had an app that actually worked and was stable over any length of time :(

I am using the MS app itself as downloaded through the Blackberry website (if I remember correctly!). I wasn't aware that there were additional methods to login to Live Messenger?

The only thing I can think of is that because you are using the MS app it maybe cant pick up the fact you a re on your mobile. I have tested my Quick IM and it does show me signed in on a mobile. The other thing I would maybe look at is a setting within MSN Messenger, I had a quick look around but could find nothing. :(

You could download a free trial of Quick IM to test how it handles signing in to eliminate the above as the issue.

QuickIM MSN Messenger for Blackberry (Blackberry) - Download :)
