Hi all,
I have found an employer to do an apprenticeship in digital marketing. I have just finished college where i got D*D*D grades in a level 3 BTEC extended diploma in IT. The employer is saying that I could do a level 4 apprenticeship (as i have done a level 3 BTEC) but the training provider is reluctant (though not completely opposed) saying it will be difficult to do a level 4 straight away as it is more demanding, and he is concerned it would be difficult for me - as a non experienced member of staff - to be given by the employer tasks that meet the assessment criteria of the level 4.
i am quite keen to do the level 4, but don't want to take on something i won't be able to cope with either, so i'm a bit unsure what to do.
Does anyone have any advice? Is there anyone who did/is doing a level 4 apprenticeship straight from college (at 18),and if so what is it like? too hard or ok? I am pretty motivated and hard-working.
I am wondering whether to give the level 4 a go or follow the tutor's recommendation and do the level 3...
Thanks for your input.
