Legal Costs for Terms and Conditions

Hi,

Any ideas on the legal fees required to generate a straight forward and robust terms and conditions document for my virtual tours business.

I have attached a sample from a company in the same industry - although it covers some areas not applicable to me.

Thanks
George

Hi George - I looked into something like this for another forum member a short time ago and got them a quote from a solicitor that was in the region of around £950 + VAT.

The difficulty in using documents like this that were originally drafted for something else is that you could include or miss out things that are critical and therefore leave yourself and your business seriously vulnerable.

I would strongly suggest you get a solicitor to draft your T&Cs. The fact you've got a working draft will help reduce the cost.

If you can get any better quotes let me know and I'll hook you up with the solicitor I mentioned before - he's based in Glasgow (Milngavie). :D

Gulp!

I will of course try and get it cheaper since I am a skinflint, but thanks for the info.

Are you a member of the FSB? They have a legal documents section, and I think they have a service to do bespoke tailored documents.
