jQuery - free eBook, today only

I've just had a quick flick through it, it seems quite readable.

I'd describe myself as "web developer" rather than "web designer" - most of the stuff I do is more about the back-end than the front, so it tends to look 'functional', like my own site.

jQuery is new to me - at first glance, some of the jQuery and jQuery UI stuff might be handy, but up until now I've always just used my own AJAX code, so I'll need to play with it a bit to see where / whether there's a crossover.
