Is the UK Doing Enough to Support Small Businesses in Times of Economic Uncertainty?

With rising taxes, inflation, and cuts to government spending, small businesses in the UK are facing unprecedented challenges. Many entrepreneurs are struggling to stay afloat as costs increase and customer demand fluctuates. What should the government be doing to support small businesses in these tough times? Is there enough financial support available, or are we seeing the slow death of small enterprises? Share your thoughts—what do you think small businesses need right now to survive and thrive?

I don't think there's much that is being done right now mate, feels like there's just a big squeese on everything and especially customers who don't have the disposable income as much anymore.
Definitely more help needed for small businesses in-terms of grants, low interest loans, business support and advice but then also tax breaks - especially for businesses that are taking on apprentices or junior members of staff. I've heard a few tales of people bringing on an apprentice but can't keep them after a few years because of the additional costs.
Not an easy one - my focus is going to just be on more marketing and trying to stay competitive - not easy or a silver bullet really.
