If You Are Looking For Networking, Don’t Come To The POWER LUNCH CLUB
I am often asked the question, “Can you tell us a little more about your ‘networking’ group?’ And people are very surprised at my response. “Well, we aren’t a networking group”. “What do you mean you’re not a networking group? You bring people together once a month over lunch, what do you do then?” comes the reply.
Only a small proportion of people who are in business actually do any form of networking. In fact if you ask those who don’t do networking what their thoughts on the subject are, you may not be surprised to find that it’s incredibly negative. Some recent market research produced, came up with the following comments about it, “Networking is a complete waste of time”, “It’s nothing more than a glorified back slapping club”, “Tried it, didn’t get any business from it”, Networking is dead”. And so the list goes on. It is a fact that most business people don’t do networking because networking isn’t geared to help them. So what it they do and what is it they want to help their businesses successful.
My answer to the question about what we do and how we help businesses become more successful is this, “The POWER LUNCH CLUB is a powerful membership based ‘business club’, who assists company directors, business owners and managers with help and support to grow and run their companies. The membership is built upon already successful businesses that have a desire to help other businesses be successful too. They able to both support each other and of course always looking to develop their own businesses.”
Let’s face it; most people in business understand that they cannot do everything to achieve their business goals and that at times they need help in making their businesses grow and be successful. Well we provide the platform for them to do just that, by bringing them into an environment with experience business people.
Most networking clubs are designed to bring a group of people together and allow them to swap business cards and the attendee’s hope that by attending them, they will land lots of business. No, our monthly events are attended by members who have the experiences, knowledge, tools and contacts to help your business grow. After all they made their businesses grow. The question then is, “Do you want to tap into it?”
Power Lunch Club members like to do business with people they know. It’s a business fact that people do business with people they trust, and they only trust them and give them opportunities once they get to know them. Relationships don’t just fall into your laps, you must work to build your connections.
Members enjoy a number of benefits, whereby they get together to develop business relationships, assist each other with business issues and develop long term business together. Comprised primarily of business owners and managers who understand the value of helping and assisting each other. The have the focus and drive make their businesses successful, but are keen to help yours as well.
