Been asked to post this by the chaps at HSBC :)

It’s Phillip here from HSBC’s 100 Thoughts team. You may remember we contacted you a couple of weeks back regarding our campaign on Twitter at 100thoughts (100thoughts) on Twitter - just to recap, the initiative asked business owners and entrepreneurs to tweet their pearls of business wisdom using the #100thoughts hashtag for a chance to win a range of prizes.

A moment of your time, if I may. I wanted to drop you one final note as there have been some important developments that may interest you.

With around 300 ‘thoughts’ submitted and a community numbering over 750, we’ve now moved onto the next phrase of the campaign and are inviting users to vote for an overall winner at HSBC 100 Thoughts - HSBC Bank UK - if you haven’t already participated in the campaign please feel free to jump in and cast your vote.

We’re also inviting users to tune in and ask questions live at our Business Question Time events around the UK at Events - HSBC 100 Thoughts - HSBC Bank UK. These events, led by professional broadcasters like Andrew Neil and John Humphrys, are lively and contemporary business debates with panels of entrepreneurs, business journalists and HSBC specialists – a lot of thought power in one room!

I have 100 thoughts daily about the positioning taken by the major players in the banking industry but unfortunately only one is printable and the other 99 confined to the opinion 'bank' of the frustrated and disenfranchised small business community.

My advice to the banking community is ......

Look ...... at the damage caused to the small business sector!

Listen .... to what your customers are saying!

Learn .... the true meaning of 'customer service'
