Hi all
This was quite a good life lesson for me, and although you may think I'd take it to heart, if anything it's motivated me...
Basically, as you can read from my other topics in the Apprentice Stories forum, I've been enjoying my spell at the company - I feel like I've made friends, and working in the office with people with more experience in life, they've helped me a lot.
Admittedly, sometimes I've felt like I'm doing way too much work for what I'm earning - plus, I'm passed the "learning stage" now, and I'm effectively just working full-time now.
I've been told that I most likely won't get a job at the end of it, and I think about between 3-5 months away from finishing it, so I've applied for a job in the RAF in the offices - if I am lucky enough to be accepted and I get offered to join soonish, I'll by all means leave without finishing my apprenticeship and join the RAF.
So, I'm not gutted I won't be at the company for much longer as the can't afford to keep me on, it's just motivated me to get into a career where your job is more safe
