Hi There
I work for QA Apprenticeships providing Government Funded IT and Business Administration Apprenticeships for young adults. We have three programmes, which are Software and Web Design, IT Systems and Networking and Business Administration.
The Scottish Government has recognised the lack of young talent coming through in the IT industry especially Web Development and have given their support to these programmes offering full funding between ages 16-19. The training is provided by QA on behalf of Skills development Scotland. There is also partial funding for existing members of staff aged between 20-24.
I'm keen to hear from any companies who would be interested in hearing more information on these programmes and who would like to get involved supporting young adults first steps into an IT career. It can be a member of staff who already works within your business, or it could be a fresh new candidate that has went through our assessment programme.
I'm the account manager for East of Scotland, although we have centres all over the UK. Please refer to the links below for more information.
If you feel this is something that could work within your business please email me on Nadeem.Raja@qa.com and we can arrange a chat in regards to these programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity to take advantage of the government funding provided and help support young adults into their IT Career.
