I just did a search on Google and the results now have 2 icons next to them. One was promote and the other was remove. What's all this about then?

I noticed it yesterday its something to do with having your own person SearchWiki

I think you can customise the search results to your own desires.

So if you click remove it won't show a website again when you search for something.

Or so I believe :D

Yep Tom hit the nail on the head :)

I think it's all to do with most people doing the same search more than once and this tool allows you to rejig the search results so that the next time you do the same search it bring up this personalised view. Some people have said it's an amazing step forward. OK it's a nice tool but not something that got me excited:p

Just remember that if you remove sites and bring your own site to the top it's only you that gets that result ;)

My question is how to you demote your site back down to its original rankings? I thought I'd try it just to see how it works and now I can't see a way to get things back to normal.
