I have seen this offer a few times (top-tip - if you google "free quickbooks software" you can usually find a link somewhere!) and it will no doubt have its uses for a very very simple business, but from what I can tell it is a VERY basic taster version of Quickbooks. It doesn't track stock or suppliers and I believe it doesn't allow very many customers details to be stored.

If you you want a good quality accounts package with a very similar look and feel, but less restrictive you should look at Microsoft Office Accounts Express - it's free all the time after all!
