Hi Guys

As we enter winter and the snow is falling my businesses slow up are fair bit and we spend most of our time focusing on next years challenges. However we do get a hardcore of clients that seems to be growing who want to come out in winter and test themselves in Scottish winter conditions

My question is does the winter white water rafting video inspire you to do this in winter? Or make you think you must be joking:001_unsure:

It was going REALLY well 'till about 2:25 in when they all started bobbing about like corks in a bucket :w00t::w00t::w00t:

You need to watch what you're doing with the music on this sort of thing. I didn't recognise the track but assume it's from a CD or something???

That looks fantastic although I have to say you wouldn't get me doing this in winter! That's just mental

I think it will definately appeal to the people you are trying to target

Thanks for the comments guys. I know what I do does not appeal to everyone, but there is enough out there that it does appeal to. Half my job is educating the market that you can do this in Scotland. As you know educating a market is always difficult and expensive.

The market in the USA is over $1B and we are way behind them but I will keep slogging away telling the story that Scotland is the place for adventure.

My first thought was 'White water rafting in winter = sandwich short of a picnic". However once I'd watched the video I thought that it looked great fun, all thought of hypothermia had quickly been brushed aside.

Ah but I have spent all my life doing what many would class " sandwich short of a picnic"

It gives you a very different perspective on most things in life when you have pushed things to the limits a few times. These days :sleep: is more appealing though.

We took a 79 year old rafting 2 weeks ago and also a 75 year old
River Bugging

Now if there age was not impressive enough, they were both missing limbs!!

Amazing what you can do with a bit of attitude no matter what age.
