Wow BioOutsource if we had domains down for around a week we would be seeking compensation from Mochahost - that is completely and utterly unacceptable.

The other company we use - or I should say our developer uses for CMS based sites is again excellent customer service and 99.9% uptime on the server - which by the way is the same for 123connect.

Hope that helps. (K)

I totally agree i dont know why companies do outsource their technical and customer support department in India that sucks big time. And we really are looking forward to ask for the compensation. May be you can suggest me something how can i proceed with this.

I have tried 1and1 as well, they are not that price competitive but offer good services no doubt.

Good luck seeking any substantial compensation. Most hosts will limit themselves from any damages caused by service outage in the terms and conditions you agree to when you subscribe.

If downtime costs you considerable money, consider looking at viable alternatives than the sell-it-high, sell-it-cheap style web-host.
