I own the domain PCs.co.uk and am considering lease the domain/site out to an end user, the domain is 15 years old. Running a shop, site or blog on PCs.co.uk can offer you a second storefront and using the prime generic domain name gives instant credibility when dealing with customers and suppliers offering benefits such as:

High recall and recognition value especially when used in adverts and easy to spell, niche dominance and market credibility along with current traffic.

Currently PCs.co.uk gets around 5000 visitors per month
60% from Google for keywords like:
• Pcs
• Pc
• cheap pcs
• pc’s
• cheap pc

18% of the traffic is direct navigation, people typing it into their browser, the rest from Yahoo & Live/MSN

The domain is available for lease at £500 per month on a 2 or 3 year lease, an option to renew the lease can be included. The present content, logo & design can be used, using this domain does open doors when trying to contact people, get attention to get equipment for reviews/testing.

I don't currently sell online, but might be interested.

Having said that, would you be interested in a joint venture?

Hey Stuart, I'm primarily looking for a lessee at present as a first option to grow the leasing side of my business but would not rule a j/v.

No worries. If you struggle to find someone to lease the domain to, let me know. I might be interested in setting up a business and branding it for UK-wide distribution.
