God thats really worrying i have to say axing 77 stores out of 177 its a huge amount to get rid of. Thats a lot of people losing their jobs.

DSG to be honest has been struggling for a while. I think they get seriously hit by the online retailers and simply cannot compete on price. The other thing I hate about them is their product knowledge in store is shocking, you get more from an info page on a website or on the shelf label :p

These type of companies work on wafer thin margins and it's probably highly dependent on selling volumes. They're also one of these companies who try and selling those bloody extended warranties etc which I hate :(

Not surprised at all, rip of merchants asfaic. Any shop that tries to sell me extended warranty is automatically in my bad books!
