Dead Air Wednesday!

So what’s ‘Dead Air Wednesday’ all about? Well; ‘Dead Air’ is the term used by broadcasters for those painfully silent ‘on air’ moments when the station is live but there’s no output. After 23 years in the video production business we think we’ve worked out all the seasonal patterns. And traditionally the period from Late October through to mid February has always been a quiet one for us. And Wednesdays are the quietest days of the week!

Dead Air!

November’s upon us, Christmas and New-Year are just around the corner and many businesses seem to be winding down to hibernate for the winter!

Is that wise?

We suspect not!

Now, more than ever is the time to be putting in place your plans for next year’s marketing push! Now is the time you should be sprucing up that website, thinking about that exhibition stand, and considering how to make your next mailshot really count!

So we thought we’d make good use of our ‘dead air’ on a Wednesday to make a great offer ....

The three-minute Webcast. Normally £350+VAT , Dead-Air Wednesday price just £288+ VAT!

Like all our programmes these are ideal for all sorts of trades and industries from small manufacturing firms through to high street trades such as Hairdressers, Dance Studios, Solicitors, Furniture and Kitchen outlets, Clubs, Bars, Restaurants....

Primarily these programmes are intended for webcasting via a site such as YouTube although of course you can embed them directly into your own site. However, as the programmes are also supplied on DVD and Blu-Ray compatible disc (AVCHD) they're ideal for exhibition use too!

One of our programmes opened the 2009 Stirling Film Festival at the McRobert's arts centre. So we can safely say that the AVCHD version of your programme is suitable for projection on anything up to (and including) cinema sized screens. And the standard DVD version is ideal for Point-of-Sale or Window display....

Webcast gives you a 1/2 day shoot with a solo operator at a single location, up to 8 hours in Post-Production, Stock Music and simple roll-in graphics created from your existing logo or artwork. Made to a standard format, Webcast puts you (or a member of your team) on-screen to demonstrate or just talk about your company, product or service. We creatively intercut this with shots of your process or facilities, professionally produced music and graphics to make a truly professional presentation you can be proud of.

What’s the catch?

Well, because we’re making use of an otherwise unproductive part of the week there are one or two catches...

1) The shoot (four hours maximum) can only take place on a Wednesday afternoon between 12:00pm and 5pm

2) Dead-Air Wednesday deals are only available to businesses based along the M8 corridor and as far north as Stirling... Basically if you’re within 45 minutes or so of Livingston that’s fine.

3) You need to have accessible premises for the shoot with reasonable parking facilities; the operator will be working solo so may need a little help with their kit if you’re upstairs in an office or some distance from the car park!

4) We’ll need room to work too! So we’ll need a reasonably quiet space with minimal interruptions... Most office spaces are fine!

5) 40% Deposit (£115.20) is payable in advance to book a shoot and deposits need to be in place at least 14 days before your shoot.

6) Dead Air Wednesday deals are ONLY available from November 25th 2009 until February 10th 2010 EXCLUDING December 23rd, 30th and January 6th ...That means there are just NINE Dead Air Wednesday deals available in total!
