Hey all,

Can anybody recommened a good CRM>

It must be web based, either hosted or available to setup on your own hosting.

Most importantly free!

I've got a couple in mind, Sugar and another one that begins with a z but i have lost the page.

But i wondered what anybody else used.

Still toying with these myself,

I also have looked at Sugar, but also vTiger which seems a little less bloated. It also offers a plugin for Outlook I believe.

Hi Tom,

I use Sugar in a few environments and find it very useful. Admittedly out the box it seems very cumbersome but it is very easy to scale it down and make it more useful. It's also open source so you can develop it etc.

I think the Z software you mention is Zoho but I may be wrong.

God do you think i could remember that

I might take you up on that. I quite like sugar but i want to try soho first.

I don't need any of the invoicing stuff i just want the client management parts.

Will let you know how i get on.

I don't recommend using bitrix. It's Russian. Kaspersky antivirus and Bitrix software could be used for a cyber attack, these are Russian companies with a huge amount of user data.
