Can't open business bank account!

I set up a UK limited company to invest in investment funds but am struggling to find a bank who will open an account for the company. Partly this is down to COVID - most banks seem to be closed to new applications right now, but it also seems to be that banks want the company to be a trading company, as opposed to a purely investment company.

Does anyone have any ideas on where I can get an account for my investment company?

Thanks!

I've recently opened an account for my Wifes new business with Starling, it was super quick, the process is good and they are almost certainly the future of banking. Might be worth taking a look to see if they cater for what you need : https://www.starlingbank.com/

Thanks for the reply. I did already try Starling but they said they only offer accounts to trading companies, not investment companies. Revolut said the same.

Starling Bank Account. Have read reviews. Some reviews are brilliant 5* others are worst bank ever. Has anyone recently opened a bank account with them?

Hi! I'm looking for limited company registration plus opening a business account online.
What would be your recommendations?
A big plus will be having invoicing features also, which means being able to send invoices and get paid.
Is it better to separate company registration from a business bank account?
