I'm starting up an aesthetics company from my home where I will be the sole practitioner. This will be a side hustle hopefully turning into the main gig within a few years.

Can anyone advise me whether I would be best running as a sole traders or a limited company?

Tough choice between sole trader or limited company. Both have benefits: being a sole trader often means less paperwork and more direct control. At the same time, a limited company can offer financial protections and might seem more 'official' to some clients. I started solo, which worked since I initially wanted complete control. I'd suggest chatting with others who've taken both routes to get a natural feel for what suits you.

I remembered about a buddy who now runs a business in booking airport transportation for Copper Mountain started on his own and then scaled up, bringing in a team when things got busier. It boils down to how you see your business growing and how hands-on you want to be.
