Best Platform for a Simple Service-Based Business Website in 2025?

Hey everyone!

I’m helping a friend set up a basic website for their service-based business (think local electrician, plumber, etc.). They just need something clean, fast, mobile-friendly, with a contact form and maybe a blog down the line.
In your experience, what’s the best platform for this in 2025?

• WordPress with a lightweight theme?
• Wix or Squarespace for simplicity?
• Or maybe something like Webflow or Carrd?

I’d prefer something they can maintain on their own once it’s up and running — they’re not super tech-savvy. Also, SEO and performance are important, but we’re not going crazy with features.
Appreciate any thoughts or recommendations — even examples if you’ve built something similar!
