apprenticeships for international students in UK

hallo.i am from Uganda in Africa.Am i eligible to apply for apprenticeship in the UK in the health care field?

I can't see why that'd be a problem. How long have you been in the UK for?

I believe when I started my apprenticeship I filled out some forms, I think there was a field asking if I'd been in the country for at least 5 years. I wasn't told why it would be an issue and I've been here all my life so I never found out. I'll do some research and get back to you.
