am a graduate of building technology from a university in nigeria west africa. Though i hold a bsc i want to do something with my hands. I have a passion for water as long as it has to do with water. So i want to learn a trade in plumbing or water engineering and i would want to do this abroad canada, australia or any other country with good working environment. How does a foreigner get apprenticeship in this countries, what needs to be done, how much can one make and any other information would be very helpful.

I'd recommend searching companies abroad. Has the RAF etc ever interested you? They could do apprenticeships in this sort of area and possibly send you out to another country.

What interests you in countries like Canada, Australia etc if you don't mind me asking?

i don't know what RAF is. I choose canada and australia cos there is need for foreigner workforce. I also belive i would be able to work and school at the same time and earn good money. Please am open to suggestions. I really want to advance my level of knowledge and i want to do that as it regards water. I work currently with a company that installs water and waste water treatment plants here in nigeria.

I think it is. Obviously you'd have to state your circumstances and your nationality etc, but I don't think it'd put you at any sort of disadvantage :)

sir i have checked their site and am impressed. I want to join them already but i have challenges maybe you could help. First they don't have an email. Calling from here will be expensive if you understand me. Then there is the issue of requirements. I have the maths and english needed but not at a sitting. What i mean is in an exam i have english no maths another i have maths no english at least not to credit level. So i don't know if i can join two different results together as both are o levels.
