I'm an employer. I have an apprentice (first time experience). I came across to my surprise the information that the NUS (National Union of Students) offers an Apprentice Extra Discount Card. I thought it might just be for college based students but it is also open to non-college based apprentices whose provider visits to give tuition in the workplace as long as the provider signs up to the scheme.
I contacted the 'provider' for my apprentice, they were not aware of the Discount Card but signed up immediately, it only took a few days. You have to apply for the card once your provider is signed up and it costs £11 so I wasn't sure if my apprentice would find it useful but she felt she'd use it 'all the time' and applied for it at once. Discounts include Domino's Pizza, MacDonald's, Pizza Express, Amazon, Cineworld, Staples, Rymans, Peacocks, Accessorize, + a whole host of fashion, food, travel, office supplies and entertainment outlets.

Expect a lot of you already know about this but could be of value to those who don't.
