POWER TALK (Edinburgh) – Kevin Dorrian Reveals a Secret; Stop Advertising to Boost your Sales…and He Will Show You How to Do It!
We all know the importance of getting your message out there to the media and we all know that can come at a cost. Kevin will reveal how you can stop advertising and get your editorial out to there to the market, without breaking your budget!! He will guide you to just where you need to be placing YOUR marketing message to get the dramatic results for your business.
As one of Scotland’s most experienced public relations consultants, he has spent most of his working life in and around the media. From the late 70’s he was working with organisations like BBC Scotland, Radio Forth and Radio Tay; as the ‘voice’ delivering traffic and travel news in east-central Scotland; before moving to the Midlands in the early 80’s to help establish “AA Roadwatch”, which became the ‘standard bearer’ for all local and regional traffic reporting media outlets throughout the UK and is still used today.
For the past 18 years he has been cutting his teeth in PR consultancy working on many high profile and award winning PR campaigns for the likes of Kwik-Fit, CR Smith, Scottish Motor Trade Association and Grampian Country Food Group to name a few.
He formed KDA-PR in 1996 and merged the business to form Acumen in 2002 offering a wide range of public relations and communications services to all levels of national and international businesses – from university start-ups to FTSE 100 companies.

“…The truth is that a story appearing in the media will actually have more impact than any advertising campaign. Editorial is more credible than advertising and will give you the edge over your competitors...”
