I have watched Elon Musk from afar and he is "strangely unqiue" - on one hand he is driven by money, playing hard ball with business suppliers, but on the other hand he has billions of dollars of investments but when he divorced a few years ago he had no cash in the bank. He could sit back today, sell all of his investments and be a multi-billionaire but he seems to want more and more success and seemingly not for the money. Maybe a lot of this stubborn streak goes back to his tough childhood in South Africa.
