A few things about the Retail and Commercial sector

Walk down your local high street and you'll most likely see pubs, high street shops, restaurants and other general shops. With all these companies comes a lot of opportunities to get an apprenticeship.

You could find yourself managing the shop you work in, advising the customers that come into the business or arranging what the stores shop window looks like.

Did you know, the hospitality and catering part of this sector employs over 2 million people. Getting an apprenticeships in this can be very rewarding as you could be learning to be a chef, a hotel manager, or you could see yourself running your own B&B.

Your organisation skills will have to be at their best if you decide to get a career in this sector. You'll also have to be good with numbers as you could be counting up behind a bar or even doing stock inventories.
