postcards, where can i get them from??

i know that vistaprint do them but i wondered if anyone knew of any other printing company or anywhere on line that does postcards.

Hi Vicky,

Do you mean A6 type cards? I assume you want some printed? What sort of quantities are we talking about? I'm sure someone posted up a site that does short run quantities who are based in Northern Ireland. If it's for larger quantities i.e 1000+ it's pretty much commodity stuff and you can find people doing them for £70-£80 per 5000.

Yeah think that's the size I'm after. Thanks for the reply.

I'm only looking for a small run to start off with as I could be moving premises later on in the year seeing as the railway have bought all the land and units where I have my small workshop.

So I'd only be looking for roughly 50-100 to start off with.

If cost is not the only factor then one company I have heard great things about is MOO.com | We love to print. I'm pretty sure you can also start fro 50 with these guys as well. If you do decide to go with any of these two or indeed someone else let us know your thoughts as finding a good printer is sometimes not always that easy

If you pop into any newsagents and pick up a copy of Professional Photographer magazine, there are a few postcard printers who advertise in the back of them. I would give you the links but all my mags are packed away. Sorry.

Mine too.....

I got some samples off them which were TERRIBLE! Colour wasn't even consistent across the batch..

Try these guys, very cheap and a client of mine has used them in the past. Ask for samples before you place your order, they should be happy to send you some.

I would also agree about Vista Print, I think they tend to print digitally and resltus are often bobbins!

Try Goodprint. Never had any problems with any of their stuff and it's usually around a 3-4 day delivery time.

An example price for 1000 A6 sized postcards with your own design is £94. They do different types of laminates, rounded corners etc, and there are special offers on every month or so.
